investment analysis supporting new investment in private below
investment grade opportunities and restructuring activities on
existing portfolio.Please Note: This position has been designated
as a hybrid role in our Atlanta, GA office. Details of your
in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager. The
Contributions You'll Make:New Investment
- Work as part of a deal team to compile and evaluate information
to underwrite credit/investment characteristics of potential
direct, syndicated and secondary corporate credit transactions in
the Middle Market, Private Placement Market, Project Finance and
Special Situations.
- Perform due diligence through conversations with company
management, on-site visits of company's facilities and
customer/supplier/vendor calls.
- Develop/Analyze deal term sheets/proposals and evaluate merits
of investments on relative value basis.
- Present conclusions and recommendations regarding investment
decisions.
- Follow developments in the capital markets including public
high-yield market, senior bank loan market and investment grade
market to ensure relative value. Documents, Monitoring and Closing
- Assist in preparation of Investment Committee memo for
investment approval.
- Organize and maintain files of assigned credits.
- Maintain communication with borrowers in order to monitor
performance and compliance with loan covenants.
- Engage with internal pricing and compliance teams to value and
price securities accurately and ensure compliance.
- Assist in reporting and communication with internal and
external clients.
- Assist with other ad-hoc administrative duties related to the
portfolio and marketing of the program. Restructuring
- Support team in negotiations with borrowers, lenders and other
investors during restructuring discussions .
- Prepare, compare and contrast recovery rates in distressed
assets using fundamental analysis, comp analysis and liquidation
analysis of borrowers.
- Interact with financial advisors and legal advisors to
supplement financial analysis.
- Conduct and present industry research, analyze borrower's
competitive position in the marketplace and analyze company's
future prospects in that context.
- Assist in preparation of credit memoranda for presentation to
internal committees. Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
- Interest in pursuing CFA designation.
- 2 years of experience in credit analysis with desire to pursue
a credit analysis career track.
- Good understanding of financial statements, capital structures
and accounting concepts.
- Ability to learn quickly and perform a variety of different
functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Excel modeling skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform well in a
collaborative, team focused environment. #LI-MG1 Compensation Pay

expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s)
listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive
opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives,

salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work
within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya
Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual
compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based
upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience,
education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be
finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will
be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be
